With the popularity of E-book readers increasing, formats now available for Sony readers, Apple iPhones and iPads, and with Amazon heavily promoting Kindle on TV, the results are steadily climbing E-book sales. And sales mean readers. After watching from the sidelines for the better part of this year, Saltburn by the sea writer Chris Scott Wilson decided it was time to actively seek an E-book publisher whose catalogue would cover the diverse areas of his writing. Not an easy task, as Chris writes historical fiction, maritime fiction, westerns, local history books and other non-fiction titles, and even has a science fiction novel tucked away for a rainy day.

October 2010

Saltburn author Chris is excited to announce he has signed with Boson Books of Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, for five of his westerns to be issued in eBook format world-wide. Originally published as Hale Black Horse Westerns, the first is Double Mountain Crossing, to be published in October, followed by The Fight At Hueco Tanks, The Quantro Story, The Copper City and Desperadoes.

The sixth eBook will be the first in Chris' maritime series. Titled Scarborough Fair, it's a fictional account of John Paul Jones' greatest sea battle during the American War of Independence when he became America's first naval hero at the battle of Flamborough Head.

All the eBooks will be available from Amazon, Borders, the Ebook Store, Mobipocket,, Direct & other leading world-wide distributors.
